Privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Italia Furniture collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our Norcross showroom and our communications with you.

Our commitment

  • We never sell your personal information or your browsing information — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
  • The information you share with us, and how you use our website, is used internally by Italia Furniture only, to serve you better.
  • We never use advertising cookies. Our own cookies are used internally only and are never shared.

Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to help you, mainly what you choose to give us:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and, for orders and deliveries, your address.
  • Messages and requests — what you write to us through our contact form, by email or by phone.
  • Order details — the products you purchase, delivery and service arrangements, and payment records.
  • Trade/Designer Program applications — your business details and the information you include in your application.
  • Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.

When you visit our website, we automatically record how it is used: the pages you view and for how long, how far you scroll, the buttons and links you click, the amounts you enter in our payment estimator, the website or search that brought you to us, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region) based on your internet address.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical records, such as your IP address and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and working properly.

How we use your information

We use your information only to:

  • Answer your questions and requests.
  • Process, deliver and assemble your order, and keep you updated on its status.
  • Provide after-sales service, warranty support and replacement parts.
  • Review Trade/Designer Program applications and manage trade accounts.
  • Send our newsletter, if you have subscribed.
  • Understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it and our service.
  • If you contact us, see which pages you looked at, so we can answer you more helpfully.
  • Keep the business records required by law, such as sales and tax records.

We never sell your information

Italia Furniture does not sell, rent or trade your personal information or browsing information, and we do not share it with advertisers or marketing companies. Your information stays with Italia Furniture.

The only exceptions are limited and necessary to serve you:

  • Payments — card payments are handled by our payment processor, which receives only what is needed to complete the payment.
  • Running our website and email — the companies that host our website and deliver our emails process information on our behalf only, and may not use it for any other purpose.
  • Financing — if you apply for financing, you provide your application directly to Wells Fargo, and it is governed by Wells Fargo's privacy policy.
  • Legal requirements — when we are required to by law, or to protect our customers, our staff or our business.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser. We use our own cookies to recognise your browser when you return, so we can count visitors and understand how our website is used across visits. Our cookies hold a random number, not your name or contact details.

What our cookies help us learn stays with Italia Furniture: it is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to show you ads elsewhere. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not follow your activity across other websites.

Some pages show content from other companies: our showroom map comes from Google Maps, and our videos are played through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. These companies may set their own cookies when that content loads, under their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser's settings. Our website will continue to work, although the map or videos may not load.

Linking your visits to your messages

If you send us a message through our website, we connect it with your earlier visits, so our team can see which pages you looked at and help you better. This information is used internally only.

Emails from us

We send our newsletter only to people who have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every newsletter, or by contacting us. We will continue to send messages about your orders, deliveries and service, as these are part of serving you.

How we protect and keep your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting access to the members of our team who need it to serve you. We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our products and services, support your warranty and after-sales service, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, unless we are required to keep it by law. You may also ask us to delete the website usage information linked to you. Contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
