PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • All balances must be paid 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date
  • Sales orders with a balance within 48 hours of the delivery date will be subject to rescheduling
  • A financing fee of 5% will be charged when financing items are discounted more than 30%
  • A $250 fee will be charged for any bounced check payments
  • A $500 administrative fee will be charged for each credit card payment chargeback
  • The Customer is liable for all legal and court fees associated with reclaiming any non-payment
  • A 5% fee will be charged every two weeks until balances are paid for any unpaid delivered merchandise resulting from a chargeback or non-payment
  • A signed sales order and credit card authorization form are required for payments over $250.00

DEPOSITS & PRODUCT HOLDING

  • A 30% deposit must be made to reserve any merchandise (incoming or in stock)
  • A 50% deposit must be made to initiate production of a custom order item
  • Custom order deposits are non-refundable after 5 days of the payment date, not to exceed 50%
  • Italia Furniture will hold merchandise at no charge for up to 8 weeks, unless otherwise stated in your sales order document
  • After 8 weeks, a 5% storage fee will be charged every 2 weeks
  • The storage fee is 5% every two weeks of the merchandise subtotal before tax and delivery, unless otherwise noted on your sales order
  • If a customer cancels after 8 weeks, the aforementioned storage fee will be deducted from the deposit refund, not to exceed 30% of the merchandise total
  • Customer authorizes Italia Furniture to submit any custom order items upon signing this document.

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS, & EXCHANGES

  • All items, excluding custom and final sale items/orders, may be returned for a full refund before delivery
  • Final sale items/sales orders may be canceled for a 10% restocking fee before delivery
  • All items in like new condition, excluding final sale items/sales orders and custom items, may be returned for store credit within 5 days of delivery
  • All items in like new condition, excluding final sale items/sales orders and custom items, may be returned to the original form of payment less a 25% restocking fee within 5 days of delivery
  • Final sale items cannot be returned nor exchanged after a customer receives and signs off on delivery
  • Custom order items can be canceled or modified within 5 days of purchase. After 5 days, cancellation and modifications cannot be guaranteed
  • Return items not picked up by Italia Furniture will be subject to inspection - returns will not be accepted if there are any signs of damage
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable after a delivery has been completed or attempted

DELIVERY

  • A $40 fee will be charged for canceling and/or rescheduling deliveries within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date
  • The customer is not responsible for items that arrive damaged - if an item arrives damaged, Italia Furniture will work as quickly as possible to repair, replace, or process an immediate refund
  • Italia Furniture does not move any existing items in a delivery location
  • Italia Furniture does not hang anything to walls or alter any walls
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable after an attempt has been made
  • If a customer fails to show within 20 minutes of the delivery team arriving at a delivery site, the customer forfeits his/her delivery slot and will be charged a 'no show' fee of 50% of the original delivery fee or a minimum of $75
  • Italia Furniture is not responsible for any damages once a delivery note has been signed
  • Concealed damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery completion - Italia Furniture is not responsible for concealed damages outside of the 3 day window
  • Italia Furniture is not responsible for damages to the walls and/or floors of a delivery site that is not noted at the time of delivery

WARRANTY

  • Italia Furniture honors all manufacturer's warranties unless otherwise noted
  • For an additional amount, a comprehensive protection plan can be added to a sales order
  • Italia Furniture will not honor warranty claims in instances where missuse, improper handling, or customer damages are apparent and verified by a third party

OTHER

  • Tax exempt sales must provide current tax/business ID documentation as well as complete a tax exemption form
  • Taxes for out of country sales will only be returned after receiving a Bill of Lading
  • Leather and marble are natural products - variations within manufacturer's tolerance will not be designated as 'defective' and are not subject to additional claims, discounts, or return exceptions
  • Italia Furniture quotes the best estimated date of arrival for incoming and custom order items - in the event of a delay, the customer is not entitled to any additional discounts.
